<%image:DSC00234.JPG%closeimage> Well we made it to the hospital.. lots of thing involved.. first you cant always go right away.. you have to call and wait your turn.. so although we were scheduled to be at 8 am.. we couldnt go till 9 am.. and our doctor was already there delivering many babies.. We needed to try to do a External Cephalic Version.. this means the doctor will attempt to rotate the baby from the outside! The process only took about 30 minutes.. but to janine it was hours.. and whats interesting is they say this process is nothing compared to the pains of labor! The version technique is quite interesting.. the doctor pushes the baby up and descides whether to rotate clockwise or counter clockwise.. turns out that the baby easily slid clockwise.. so the doctor would put both fist down on the uterus and slowly slid the baby around.. it was a very very slow sliding.. the baby would move out of the way as the doctor would squeeze it around.. Janine was in pain.. you could see it.. i never seen such pain from her.. i think the Hike up half dome was nothing compared to this. The first time around the baby slid back.. so the process had to be restarted.. The second time was success.. it takes a lot of pressure from the doctor and a lot of endurance on janine.. Well nothing is for sure.. we will see by thursday if the baby didnt flip .. Thursday is our next doctors appointment. A postive note on this experience is that we now have everything packed and ready to go when the real time comes. This was just a dry run…
